An Architecture of Customized Workflows

In the digital age, the information technology has not only extended the toolbox of the architects, but also improved the ability to mediate between the immaterial and material, human and machine. According to the methodology advocated in this article, workflow automation （interoperational toolsets） encourages versatility and interchange ability in the design process, granting the architects more determinism and creating the opportunity for the architecture to emerge from its environment（s） and user（s）.
