The development of electronic government requests high security for network communication.Public Key Infrastructure is the best architecture to ensure the security of network.Based upon the study of PKI,the paper puts forward an effective scheme of the secure electronic government,in which many technologies including X.509 digital certificates,digital signature and public key encryption related with SSL protocol have been used to set up a safer and more convenient system.
