| Abstract: | With the objective statement of current college English teaching situation in average universities,the paper analyses the following five aspects: ideology of English teaching,levels of college English teachers,textbooks used for college English teaching,teaching modes and teaching environment,assessment system etc.,and proceeds to discuss how to make adjustment on these five aspects to meet the demands of the society. |
