数字化实时无线信道模拟器

摘    要:本文利用DSP和FPGA完成了一种可编程实时信道模拟器。该模拟器具有USB接口,可以方便地和PC机进行通信。FPGA控制的模拟、数字接口,具有很大的灵活性。用户可以通过PC机的USB对FPGA和DSP的程序进行在线升级。本文完成的无线信道实时模拟器,不同于以往的信道模拟器,将发射机做到了模拟器内。这样做省掉了ADC,而且便于和PC机连接,有利于模拟器控制和数据分析。该模拟器在中低速数据通信系统的测试领域,具有一定的使用意义。

Abstract:A programmable real-time channel simulator integrated with DSP and FPGA is presented. This simulator can be connected to Personal Computer (PC) via USB interface. Its analogy and digital interfaces are controlled by FPGA. The software of both FPGA and DSP can be online upgraded by the user from the USB interfaced PC. Unlike most conventional simulators which need externally connected transmitter, the proposed simulator has built-in transmitter as to omit Analog -Digital Converter (ADC). With this configuration, this simulator is easier to be connected to PC. Therefore, it is more controllable and beneficial to further data analysis. It is evident that the proposed simulator is applicable to the test of low-and-middle bit-rate communication systems.
