| Abstract: | A study has been made to characterise the thermodynamical aspect of phase transformations inY- Ba- Cu- O system, by measuring the enthalpy of reactions with differential scanning calorimetry. Theenthalpies for the melting of YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-x). and Y_2BaCuO_5 were measured to be 249 and 164 J/g,respectively. |
