| Abstract: | A method for the determination of sulfate in water is established by using alcohol as the medium, thoron I as the indicator, methylene blue solution as the foil and barium chloride standard solution as the titrant. The method has been used successfully for the determination of sulfate in water and is characterised by its simplicity and accuracy. |
