| Abstract: | This paper describes the huge economic losses and safety hazards caused by microbial corrosion due to sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB) in the oil production,sums up various SRB corrosion mechanisms,highlights the cathodic depolarization mechanism and microbial control methods. |
