| 摘 要： | 旧城更新过程中如何应对历史街区的空间特色研究和保护是一个亟待解决的问题.本文利用城市意象分析法阐述了镇江西津渡历史街区的空间特色,指出当前历史街区保护所面临的挑战,并提出若干保护建议.

| Abstract: | It is exigent of researching on spatial characteristics and preservation of historical districts during the course of old cities' renewal. Using analysis technique of five elements on the city image,the paper discusses the spatial characteristics of historical district at Xijindu, expounds the facing challenges of current historical district preservation, and brings forward some advice on preservation. |
