Abstract: | Three YBa2Cu3O x samples (A, B, and C) were prepared under similar conditions. The starting materials were Y2O3 (99.99%), CuO (99.999%), and BaCO3 (99.999%). All the specimens demonstrated a Meissner effect at liquid-nitrogen temperature. From temperature-dependent resistivity measurements, theT c for the three samples was found to be aroundT c =93 K, in agreement with other reports [1]. |
