| 摘 要： | 本文提出一种针对H.264视频编码标准的帧间模式选择快速算法。该算法首先进行SKIP模式的提前预判,然后根据宏块的特点来预先判断可能采用的编码模式,最后根据预判的结果来选择编码模式。实验结果表明,在图像质量和压缩效率没有明显降低的前提下,本文提出的算法使编码速度平均提高了76%。

| Abstract: | The paper proposes a fast inter mode decision algorithm in the H.264 video coding standard. The algorithm initially detect SKIP mode in the early stage. It subsequently predicts possible encoding modes based on characteristics of the macroblock and finally decide the encoding mode by using the prediction result. The simulation results show the proposed algorithm reduces encoding time by 76% on average with acceptable picture quality degradation and loss in compression. |
