| Abstract: | This article describes longitudinal cracks of slab surface in No.4 continuous caster for the second steelmaking plant of ISC of Chongqing. The morphology and formation mechanism of longitudinal cracks are also analyzed. Finally， combining with production technology and equipment， the corresponding optimization improvements are proposed. |
