Discussion of Issues in Reconstruction of Drainage Network of Old Urban Area

The drainage system is an important link among water resources utilization,water pollution control and eco-environmental protection.The paper pointed out that the reconstruction of drainage network of old urban area was inevitable in city development process.Particularly the design principles of intercepting ratio,intercepting well,intercepting sewage flow,sewage backflow prevention and so on,as well as the matters needing attention were also introduced.And corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were put forward for the problems in the reconstruction of drainage network of old urban area.
