Abstract:Ruthenium carbene complex catalyst has been more and more widely applied in the olefin metathesis polymerization because of its high activity,mild reaction conditions,well tolerance to air,water and many functional groups,and attracts more attention of domestic and foreign researchers.Main synthesis methods of ruthenium carbene catalyst in recent years and the influence of different ligands on catalyst properties are summarized.The application status of ruthenium carbene catalyst in initiating dicyclopentadiene(DCPD) polymerization is described.Its development prospect and direction are also given according to domestic circumstances.
