从德国功能翻译理论的角度看严复的翻译

德国功能翻译理论提出“翻译行为”的概念，从翻译的预期功能和目的出发诠释翻译活动，打破了以原语为中心的静态研究模式，将翻译视作一种以译者为中介的有选择性和目的性的跨文化交际行为。从功能翻译理论的研究视角出发，把严复的翻译看作是一种有特定目的的翻译行为，并将其置于所处的社会文化背景中，从译著的选择、翻译方法以及采用的文体三个方面进行了论述。

Reconsider Yan Fu's Translation from the Perspective of German Functionalist Translation Theory

The German school of functionalist translation theory, which has put forward the concept of ＂translational action＂, defines translation as a kind of activities aiming at the prospective translation function and skopos, thus breaking the static ST - oriented research pattern and viewing translation as a selective and intentional intercultural communicative action intermediated by the translator. This article tries to reconsider Yan Fu＇ s translation from the perspective of German functionalist translation theory. Being put in the social and cultural background, Yan Fu＇ s translation was regarded as a translational action with a particular purpose and was analyzed in three aspects： the selection of original books, the translation methods and the adopted style.
