| Abstract: | An exploration for solving the problems such as low dye-uptake, dull shade and poor colour fastnees of linen fabric dyeing was conducted. The researcher had the linen fabric first mercerized, then dyed with reactive dyes with addition of chlorinated rare earth. This method enhanced the dye-uptake, improved the dyeing properties and increased the depth of shade. |
