| Abstract: | This paper considers the minimum time regulator problem for a linear time-invariant discrete system with input and state variable constraints. The state space techniques are used throughout. Conditions for controllability of the system are examined in detail and an algorithm for generating optimal controls is given such that computor implementation is possible for higher-order systems. |
