摘    要:介绍了人工智能的定义、发展史及主要应用领域和专家系统的基本结构及组成部分、知识表示方法、专家系统开发。总结了专家系统在化工中的主要应用领域和公开发表的化工专家系统。指出专家系统性能取决于它所具有的知识量的多少,并不取决于它采用的形式和接口,人工智能的发展趋势是同时将定量和定性推理集成为一体。

Abstract:Artificial Intelligence is defined and its history and main applications are introduced. The construction, components, knowledge representation methods and development of the Expert System are in detail dealt with. The main application areas and published softwares of the Expert System in Chemical Engineering are summed up. The ES's performance depends on how much knowledge it has, not on its form and interface. Development of artificial intelligence is combining its qualitative inference with its quantitutive inference.
