| Abstract: | Magnetic resonance imaging has revolutionised the ability to investigate intrinsic disease of the anterior optic pathways. We review the data accumulated from this technique not only in the conditions, such as neoplasia, which have traditionally been the domain of neuroimaging, but also in inflammatory, metabolic and degenerative diseases. |
