| Abstract: | The plane defects in rail welds and their detection are described. The relationship between echo height and the position of a flaw in pitch-catch mode, and the propagation law of acoustic waves and the selection of the offset angle of a probe for the inspection of rail fillet in the case of using single probe are mainly discussed. |
