Abstract: | A method of mass spectrometric analysis of gas mixtures of hydrogen and helium isotopes on low-resolution units is proposed.
The method is based on the dependence of the ion current intensity on the partial pressure of the gas in the puffing system
of the mass spectrometer. The appropriate laboratory procedure for performing the mass spectrometric analysis with simultaneous
recording of the mass spectrum and absolute gas pressure in the puffing system of the mass spectrometer is designed. It was
shown that it is possible to identify completely overlapping peaks of ion currents of components of the gas mixture, and this
is confirmed by the measurement results. |
