| Abstract: | A spreadsheet is used as the development environment for a dynamic force model of a manoeuvring ship.The dynamic equations are coded by a method of self-referencing formulas. The technique does not require spreadsheetmacros and is decribed in the paper. Some advantages and disadvantages of spreadsheets for this type of application arediscussed. |
