| 摘 要： | 我国现代化建设不仅需要具有一定专业知识的人才，更需要具有一定英语运用与交际能力的综合型人才。大学英语教学要端正教学目的，转变教学理念，改革不利于学生英语实际运用能力培养的因素，树立新的教学目标，强化“自主学习”，积极探索和创建适合培养学生英语实际运用能力的教学模式，提高大学英语教学质量。

| Abstract: | The modernization of our country has a greater demand for talents with communicative competence in using English than for talents with only professional knowledge. It is necessary to have a reform in present college English learning and teaching system and to create a workable teaching and learning approach so as to improve the quality of college English teaching and learning. |
