| Abstract: | Today, urban planners and policy makers are challenged by an increasing complexity in the way cities are developing and urban dwellers are adapting their daily practices. Rapid transportation modes and the use of new technologies of communication (NTCs) give people more autonomy and more flexibility; such phenomenon highlights the role of mobility in shaping both urban social fabric and social relations in our contemporary societies. |
