Abstract:A WWTP in Zhejiang Province mostly for pharmaceutical wastewater treatment has reached its full capacity.Available capacity needs to be extended from 10000 m~3/d to 25000 m~3/d.CODCrdischarge limit is also enhanced from≤150 mg/L to≤100 mg/L.Design parameters are introduced and the performance of different treatment units after 2-year operation is evaluated respectively.Averaged effluent concentrations lower than 100 mg/L for CODCr,2.0 mg/L for NH3-N and 0.2 mg/L for TP are achieved using hydrolyze acidification+MBR+Fenton fluidized-bed process.Contaminants are hydrolyzed to more biodegradable forms during the hydrolyze acidification process and then significantly removed by MBR system.Fenton system successively oxidizes those non-biodegradable organic compounds to help ensure that the effluent COD meet the discharge standard.
