从设计到设计设计——关于人工智能时代设计的哲学思考

人工智能将给人类社会带来巨大的变化。不仅一般意义上的劳动将由人工智能取代,而且集中体现人类创造力的艺术和设计也不能幸免。不过,人工智能所取代的艺术和设计,只是“一阶”的艺术和设计;而“二阶”的艺术和设计将被突显出来。如同“二阶”思想是思想思想一样,“二阶”设计将是设计设计。设计设计也可以说是观念设计。人工智能时代的艺术是观念艺术,设计是观念设计,它们都具有一定程度的哲学性质。

From Design to Designing Design:Philosophical Reflections on Design in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

AI will bring great changes to human society.Not only will labor in the general sense be replaced by artificial intelligence,but art and design that embody human creativity will not be immune.However,the art and design will be replaced by AI are only“first-order”one,and so“second-order”art and design will be highlighted.Just as“second-order”thinking is“thinking on thinking”,“second-order”design will be“design on design”or designing design.Designing design can also be called conceptual design.Art in the era of AI is conceptual art and design is conceptual design,both of which have somewhat philosophical character.
