| Abstract: | Improving rate and efficiency of municipal water use is the requirement of the most stringent management of water resources and guarantee of social and economic sustainable development.Local gross amount of water resources,structure and current situation of water consumption are investigated and analyzed in Guangrao County.As a result,it is proved that several serious problems exist,such as overdevelopment and overuse of groundwater,low efficiency utilization of unconventional water resources and high leakage rate of pipeline network.Countermeasures like accelerating conversion of industrial water source and construction of recycled water plants,improving utilization rate of rainwater resources are necessary.Guangrao County has a great water-saving potential,and through analysis and calculation,the maximum water-saving amount will reach 50300 m3/d(corresponding water-saving rate is 34.9%)in the near future.Besides,local amount of reclaimed water and rainwater will take up the highest proportion. |
