| Abstract: | Entrusted by the Association of Engineering Thermodynamics of China, the paper dealing with the strategic development of thermodynamics is dedicated to the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSF). An overview of the worldwide development of the exergy method is given; its introduction into andgeneral development in China is briefly described. Finally, the emphasis is put on the author's suggestions for the future development of the exergy method and the selection of research projects in this field with the intention to make the distribution of funds from NNSF more rational. |
