| Abstract: | Semi-solid processing is a new hot working technology of metal materials in the 21th century. Semi-solid metal processing(SSP), solid metal processing and liquid metal processing should belong to the broad field of metal processing. In order to promote the theoretical research and the practical application, the production of semi-solid slurries, the technologies concerning semi-solid metal processing, application and future were mainly reviewed. |
