新艺术运动的自然观

新艺术运动旗帜鲜明地亮出"向自然学习"的口号,并自觉将这一理念付诸实践,在艺术设计各个领域都有成就,从而奠定了其在设计史中的地位。文章从师法自然的理念、设计实践和它的必然性这三个方面对新艺术运动进行全面的梳理和回顾。在强调人与自然和谐相处,绿色设计大行其道的今天,新艺术运动师法自然的理念和设计实践仍有很强的指导意义。

Naturalism in Art Nouveau

‘Learn from nature’ was a clangorous slogan in Art Nouveau,which is one of its prominent features in art design history.Many artists and designers at the turn of the 20th century spontaneously put this idea into diverse forms of arts and became successful.The ‘learn from nature’ idea and corresponding practice,its inevitability in Art Nouveau are three items retrieved and sorted out in this paper.These items still have their guiding and directive sense in the prevalence of green design and people’s living in harmony with nature.
