Abstract: | Through a questionnaire survey of 794 medical school psychologists, it was found that (a) there has been an increase in the number of women since 1964, but it is not proportionate to the number of qualified women in the labor force; (b) women generally had lower rank and salaries than men; and (c) there were no significant differences between the sexes in job satisfaction.
