| Abstract: | This paper reviews the history of the urban planning major in Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) and analyses the development that the study fields of urban planning extend from engineering to science, economy, environment, management and polity. Based on the analysis of employment of the graduates, it summarizes the orientation, priorities and characters of urban planning major in HUST and discusses its development and renovation direction. |
