| Abstract: | The operating principle of the fault comPOnent distance relays was reviewed.Using the method of measuring impedance characteristics,thane was a detailed discussion about the ability of allowing larger grounding resistance and operating direction of this type of relays.The results indicate the advantage in allowing larger grounding resistance. |
