| Abstract: | This paper analyses in details the behavi ors of the high frequency protection devices and back-up protection devices in the case of a fault occurs beyond the protection region of the high frequency protection devices. Furthermore, the behaviors of the power line protection devices which work in the faulted grid are analyzed either. The analysis results may be referred in the following works related to relay protection. |
