| Abstract: | The Three Gorges Project controls 1 million km2 in the Yangtze River Basin and is vitally important to the development and utilization of the Yangtze River water resources. The construction and operation of the Three Gorges Project will benefit the comprehensive utilization of water resources in the Yangtze River Basin and will play important role in flood control, power generation, navigation, fish feeding, recreation, improvement of environment, irrigation and so on. |
