| Abstract: | This paper reviews the water-base hydrofracturing fluids and additives to them developed and used in Shengli Oil Fields since later 1960s. The fluids presented here are those based on unmodified and modified (hydroxypropylcarbexymethyl and hydroxypropyl) sesbania gum. on hydroxypropyl cassia obtusifolia gum and polyacrylamide/titanium organic gelling systems. Among the additives described are clay stabilizer I-216, cleanup additive MAN, diverting agent SL-KX-1, proppant etc.A breaf analysis is given for further development. |
