| 摘 要： | 主流的3G制式有WCDMA、CDMA2000和TD—SCDMA三种。由于WCDMA厂rD—SCDMA共用同一核心网．核心网的网络结构和演进代表了3G核心网络的发展。文章以WCDMA核心网为例介绍了软交换在3G核心网络中的应用。针对3GPPWCDMA系统的几个版本对其网络架构进行了论述．说明了各个版本的结构、所承载业务的特点及其在发展过程中的相互关联和所应用的通信系统．最后分析了软交换在3G中网络架构的演变过程及将来的研究重点。
