| Abstract: | The generator is the important component of the wind energy conversion system. In this article, the novel generators applied in the wind turbine are presented in detail. The advantages, disadvantages and the characteristics of the different generators are presented, too. In the end, the trends and the perspectives in the generators and wind energy conversion system combining with the commands of the markets are depicted. |
