摘    要:有人曾提出这样一个问题:十年来我们周围最大的变化是什么?几乎半数的人给出的回答都是城市面貌。随着城镇化步伐的加快,一间间危楼平房被高楼大厦所置换,上百条马路、胡同被一条条通衢大道取代,每次走在光鲜灿亮的大街上,您想没想过这样一个问题,那些被拆除下来的建筑垃圾哪里去了?每年大量的施工建设和拆迁改造工程不可避免地产生数亿吨

Abstract:Due to huge amount of construction and reconstruction projects every year,construction waste would be inevitably produced in hundreds of millions of tons.According to a rough estimation,in China,the amount of construction waste has already accounted for 30%-40% of the total amount of urban waste,and a total amount of 1.56 billion tons of construction waste would be produced every year.During the "Two Sessions" of NPC and CPPCC in 2010,social concern upon construction waste disposal was aroused by an article,which was about an interview with Professor Chen Jialong from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.In June of that year,this article was publicized in full text as a brief report by the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee,which was personally instructed by Premier Wen Jiabao.Then two years later,what would be the development status of beneficial reuse of construction waste in China? Here the cover story is just focusing on beneficial reuse of construction waste.
