Abstract: | There was a sharp increase in the production of motor vehicles in China in 2005, among which the output of automobites was 5.75 mittion, and the output of motorcyctes was 19 mittion. Vehictes for farming and srnatt generat non-road engines were devetoped rapidty tast year with the production of 3 mittion and 8 mittion respectivety. Currentty, there are 32 million automobiles, 80 million motorcycles and 24 mittion vehicles for farming in China. It is estimated that the number of automobites in China witt reach 55.6 million by 2010. Meanwhite, China is activety estabtishing a vehicte pottution control system. A series of statutes and regutations witt be imptemented to control the emission of various vehictes. This offers a good opportunity for the devetopment and apptication of vehicte exhaust purifiers and rare earth catatytic materials. |
