Research on information management of mobile phone design based on knowledge reuse

Mass customization oriented product design is a collaborative process relating to a lot of industries and fields.It is impossible for designers to master all related knowledge.Rapid acquisition and application of knowledge are the key problems to accelerating product development and enhancing to ability of design and innovation.According to features of moblie phone design,a knowledge reuse method is introduced for meet customer’s demands.The reused coutents include design knowledge,innovation knowledge,product model and BOM.This method is appiled into a CAD system which integrates a lot of design information.It shows that this method provides a solution for effectively resolving the contradiction between quickly mobile phone products updating and more powerful functions to be added.
