| 摘 要： | 英语在发展过程中受到多国文化的影响有其深刻的文化成因。只有深入研究英语词汇的文化内涵,才能正确理解英语的词汇、句意和语篇;才能理解语言背后蕴涵的文化含义。本文阐述了英语词汇的文化内涵及其对跨文化交际的影响。

| Abstract: | The English language has been greatly influenced by various foreign cultures in the course of its development,thus its vocabulary is rich in cultural connotations.In order to comprehend the concrete meaning of English words,sentences and contexts,one has to have a comprehensive knowledge of the cultural connotation of the English vocabulary so as to understand the cultural elements beneath the language.This paper illustrates the cultural connotation of the English vocabulary and its impact on intercultural communication. |
