On the Development Strategy of Higher Vocational Education in the Era of Knowledge Economy

Knowledge economy has put a higher demand on vocational education and opened up a broader road for its development.This paper analyzes the development characteristics and direction of higher vocational education in the era of knowledge economy and suggests that the teaching quality and college competitiveness should be greatly increased,that to cultivate students’ all-round development,to make them learn to behave and learn how to learn should be put in a prominent position,that students’ comprehensive occupation ability and quality should be effective improved,that teachers’ teaching ability should be promoted,and that higher vocational education should be developed to the quality,diversity,technology and international direction.
