| Abstract: | This is the first case of an adult who developed recurrent pulmonary edema as a result of unrecognized chronic upper airway obstruction due to polyarticular juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. The case highlights the importance of considering upper airway involvement in the differential diagnosis of sedentary patients with arthritic joint disease and breathing difficulties. |
