Discussion on current transformer and the connection group of its secondary circuit in transformer differential protection

This paper proposes the importance of several questions about current transformer(TA) and the connection group of its secondary circuit in transformer differential protection.The corresponding solutions are given as follows:to adopt mathematics method for the matching of TA connection group;to add additional stable region to verify TA saturation;to integrate current and voltage to distinguish the break or short of TA secondary circuit;and to strengthen HMI to avoid problems like TA phase sequence,polarity and earthing.
