| Abstract: | Propanal-based serial products belong to the range of fine chemicals. Among these products the production of propanal, propanol and propionic acid remains almost a blank in China. This article describes the production and application of propanal in other countries and the proposal is made for China to develop technology for the production of propanal-based serial products and set up corresponding production facilities at a scale of 10 000t/a. |
