Probe into Environmental Design of University Cam-puses in Subtropical Zone

By analysis of examples, the article expounds the problem of environ- mental design of campus space as an important carrier for heritage of cultural spirit of university from overall planning to architectural design, in particular, taking campuses of colleges and universities in Guangzhou for example, it highlights the idea of harmo- nious environment by interpretation of natural environment of Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center, and adopts the latest ecological architectural technologies and means, thus meeting the requirements for ecological construction, resource sharing and adapting to modem education and achieving the design goal of university campus with unique aesthetic value.
