城市意象形态--一种致力于创造城市特色的城市设计方法

在城市化的进程中,现代城市面临特色消褪和形象趋同问题.如何通过有效的手段,创造、改造和控制城市物质形态,塑造城市特色,成为城市设计的重要研究方向.根据这一目标,笔者在城市意象理论和形态理论的基础上,提出了城市意象形态的概念,指出城市意象形态是城市设计构思的出发点,并总结了城市意象形态的建构依据、建构原则和建构方法.

Urban Imaginable Morphology:to Shape the Distinctive Features of Cities

In the process of urbanization, modern cities are faced with the problem of fading and assimilating. It's an important aspect of urban design to shape the distinctive features of cities by the methods of creating, transforming and controlling. To achieve the goal, on the basis of the theories of urban morphology and image, the paper develops the concept of urban imaginable morphology, generalizes the elements and its composite structure, and points out that it's the starting point of the conception of urban design. The paper also summarizes the construction of urban imaginable morphology.
