铬酸处理超高分子量聚乙烯纤维性能分析

摘    要:文章采用铬酸对超高分子量聚乙烯纤维进行表面处理,根据处理时间、温度与处理后纤维强力的关系及纤维表面形貌对比,确定最佳处理条件为:处理温度80℃,处理时间2min;根据红外光谱(FTIR)分析探讨铬酸氧化机理,确定铬酸处理后纤维表面产生羟基、羰基等极性基团;通过对比处理前后DSC曲线,确定铬酸处理能够提高纤维熔点;借助单丝拔出实验发现铬酸处理后纤维与环氧树脂基体粘结性能够提高63%。

Abstract:By analyzing the strength and superficial morphology of fiber with changes of experimental time and temperature, the most appropriate conditions could be deduced as follows: temperature 80℃, processing time 2 min, after external treatment of UHMWPE by chromic acid. FTIR anal- ysis was used to explore the mechanism of chromic oxide and conclusion would be drawn that polar groups, like hydroxyl and carbonyl would appear on the surface of fiber by chromic test. According to the DSC curve chart before and after treatment, the result shows that chromate plays a positive part to help to improving fibersr melting point; yet the monofilament pulling-out experiment serves as a proof that adhesion strength of fibers and epoxy matrix by chromate would be improved by 63%.
