Combining with the entrance construction at Zhuling Tunnel along Ningguo-Jixi Expressway,the study introduces the face excavation technique at small net span at tunnel adjacent to mountains under shallow covered slope,including some support measures,that is,the addition bias retaining walls,the transverse pipe shed,the steel arch and the leading conduit,so as to provide some reference for similar projects.
