中西方现代城市广场设计比较

在中国，城市广场的概念是随着近代都市规划的开展，由西方（或海外）引入的，以后随着新中国建立，中国城市广场设计深受前苏联的影响。近年随着城市社会经济的快速发展，各级城市对城市建设投入了大量的人力，令人瞩目，尤其是城市广场的建设热潮更是令人瞩目，透过这股热潮，可以看到我们的设计深受西方设计理念和手法的影响。该文试图以比较的眼光，分析中西方现代城市广场设计特点，指出我们设计中存在的问题和未来发展应秉持的态度。

Comparison of Western and Chinese Modern City Square Design

With the development of modern city planning, the concept of city square was introduced from the West in the early 20th century. Former Soviet had exerted great influence upon China city square design since new China was founded. Cities of different levels have input a lot of human, physical and financial resources into city construction Pecause of rapid economic growth and social change since 1990s. So the upsurge of constructing city squares is particularly attractive. Such a wave reflects that our designing is deeply affected by Western ideas and methodologies. The author attempts to analyze the features of East and Western designs through comparison, points out the issues existing in our design, and suggests which attitude we should hold toward the future
